The Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM) was established in 1970 as a private medical school. It is the oldest and largest osteopathic medical school in Texas and the Southwest. The school is located on the campus of the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The college offers Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degrees to students who complete its four-year program.
TCOM has grown significantly since its inception, with over 1,500 graduates since 1971. It is now one of the top osteopathic medical schools in the United States and is highly ranked by U.S News & World Report. The college offers a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes primary care medicine, preventive health care, and osteopathic principles and practices.
