Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-COM) was founded in 1994 by the late Dr. Kiran C. Patel, an esteemed cardiologist and philanthropist. NSU-COM was established in response to the increasing need for qualified healthcare professionals in the region, and it has since become one of the largest medical schools in Florida with over 1,000 students enrolled.
