The Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM) was founded in 1969 as the first osteopathic medical school in the United States. It was established with the mission to provide excellent osteopathic medical education and to advance the science and practice of osteopathic medicine. MSUCOM is one of only two colleges in Michigan that offers a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. The college is proud to have trained over 8,000 graduates who have gone on to become practicing physicians all over the country.
