New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) was founded in 1977 as the first osteopathic medical school in the state of New York. It is located in Old Westbury, Long Island and is part of the New York Institute of Technology. Founded in 1977, NYCOM is the oldest and largest college of osteopathic medicine in the state.
