The University of Florida College of Medicine (UFCOM) is one of the most competitive medical schools in the country. The admissions rate for the 2019 entering class was only 2.3%. This means that out of 10,000 applicants, only 230 were accepted into the program. The average GPA for accepted students was 3.7 and the average MCAT score was 520. UFCOM is a highly selective medical school, and only those with a strong academic record and impressive extracurricular activities will be considered for admission.
