A breach of security caused the names, addresses and social security numbers and driver’s 126,000 students six Florida state colleges accidentally stay publicly available on the network for five days, says the local newspaper Sun-Sentinel.

According to the publication the failure happened between the last days of May 29 and June 2 and was not discovered until the end of the month when a student searched for his name on Google and obtained a number of confidential data considered as response seeker. The Florida state agency said that the problem was caused by an upgrade of software, and the case is being investigated by police.
