We already knew of the interest of Intel to introduce openly on the Android platform, and it will finally be the Orange operator which will launch the first Smartphone “ powered by ” Intel arriving in our continent. Will do so in the United Kingdom under the name of Orange San Diego, and with a few really good specifications.
The device will feature a display of 4.03 inches with resolution 1024 × 600 and a processor Intel Medfield Atom Z2460 of a single-core 1.6 GHz. The RAM is undisclosed, but we assume that it will be 1 GB.
The device will come with 16 GB of internal memory, 8-megapixel camera with video recording in FullHD and another front of 1.3 megapixels. In addition, connectivity will be complete with HSPA +, Bluetooth, aGPS and Wi-Fi b/g /; everything in it a body of 123 × 63 × 9.99 mm and 117 grams of weight.
The negative note will be the operating system, and is originally the device will install Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with receive Android 4.0 months forecast. Surely the most will be incomprehensible at this point in 2012 to continue introducing devices with Gingerbread, and really if it is.
