[UPDATE 14.05.14]

In addition to the LTE and micro-SD variant and the Moto E has presented today a model of the Moto G Motorola. Why always to make a luxury version of a low-budget Smartphone? Motorola has made it and Ferrari Edition presents a Moto G.

The new model comes in a very sleek design. A black rear panel made of Kevlar. This includes two Ferrari lettering and red accents to the camera lens and the earpiece. Extra content on the Smartphone and accessories to be given by Ferrari.

The specifications are identical to those of the normal Moto G model at Ferrari. So also no LTE and micro-SD card slot. For that, the price with €280 is set very high, especially when one considers that the new Moto G with LTE for just under € 2

Actually, the Moto G is still totally up-to-date. A small update today still got it. In addition to the Moto E, today also a slightly improved version was presented by the Moto G.

There are only two small changes for the new model. A G of the Moto now has a LTE chip and a micro-SD card slot. The faster transmission speed and larger memory will delight certainly some customers. Overall, the Moto however remains an ice entry-level model. Motorola has unveiled today an another Smartphone. The Moto G no longer makes the bottom of the Smartphone range of Motorola.

The remaining specifications remain the same as at the old model:

  • 5-inch HD display, 1280 x 720 pixels
  • Snapdragon 400, 1.2 GHz quad-core, 1 GB RAM
  • 5 MP main camera, 1.3 MP front-facing camera
  • 8 / 16 GB of internal memory
  • 070 mAh battery

Who no LTE and / or a large memory needs, can still fall back on the old version of the Moto G. It is still produced and sold.

I very like this step by Motorola. More customers are addressed through greater product variety. Who would like to do without these extras, can do the same. So everyone has the functionality that he also needed in his Smartphone.

The price for the new Moto G is still in the field of entry-level smartphones with 199 euro.
