For many generations LG has received great reviews by a shortage of terminals Android updates. A fatal job they are trying to solve throughout 2014, taking care to keep their most recent terminals with the latest version available.
Today, LG Spain has confirmed that Android 4.4.2 will start to be available in some of its devices in 2013. In addition to the LG G2 that already was updated earlier this month now the LG G 8.3 Pad and LG L9 II, which will begin to receive the update in the coming days. In the case of the second, LG Spain indicates that it will be for the free terminal and linked to Vodafone.
Without giving more specific dates, we understand that the update will be available in the next couple of weeks, at most. Outside other LG L II (L3, L5, L7) terminals are of which for now has not been confirmed if they will receive the new version or will stay with the 4.1 that currently use.
Good news for a very serious problem and criticized by the community. Updates of the operating system have been postulated as essential for many users, and we must recognize that the work done by LG was rather weak in this section. We hope that this trend be maintained during the next generations.
