For the comfort and image quality
If you are not the type to just press a button, the AFN bridges are made for you! More sophisticated than the compact and with better optics, they allow you, when you want, adjust yourself your shooting settings to work better the image. This double possibility intended as much for beginners as for demanding fans.
If they are a little bigger than the compact, it is that they have a lot to offer. Starting with a double system referred to in the manual settings.
On the bridges cameras, dorsal aiming screen is doubled by an electronic viewfinder. This ensures good visibility, optimized framing and the ability to turn off the display to save power.
The bridges have a sophisticated goal. Usually wide angle, it allows almost all the shots, the portrait to the macro picture via the “sports reporting”. The addition of these qualities make the AFN extremely versatile bridges.

- connaitre shooting modes
All bridges offer so-called modes ‘Priority’ to work the image without losing his latin too.
These modes are activated through the switch turnstile located near the trigger, which includes letters PSAM. Here’s what they are:
P mode is the program mode. Close to the automatic, it leaves AFN set only the shooting speed and open the aperture, but you keep the possibility to modulate the exposure, the type of light or even white balance.
Mode S for ‘Speed’, gives the priority to the speed. This shooting mode is ideal for photographing moving subjects.
The mode, for “Aperture” (opening), allows to manually set the aperture (sometimes also called aperture). This mode is ideal to optimize depth of field.
Finally, M mode to “Manual” mode gives you full control on the device, as with a DSLR. You set each, one by one, to get exactly the result you want.
The key points for good choose
If you hesitate between several models, always choose one perspective comes from a renowned manufacturer. The sensor resolution, between 16 and 20 Megapixels on newer devices, is sufficient in all cases to use.
The presence of an articulated aiming screen is a real plus. That allows shooting in any position (diving type shooting, low angle, etc.) holding the camera at the end of arm.
He avoids the typical crash effect resulting from the referred to eye. This screen will have a diagonal at least equal to 6.35 cm.
The ideal bridge has a lens wide angle, IE whose focal range starts with a value of less than 30 mm. More the difference between the two values expressing this focal range is high (for example 26-676 mm), more shooting opportunities will be many, very close and very far. On a bridge, which is only very rarely interchangeable, it’s a point should not be overlooked.
The sensitivity to light is also a criterion of choice for the bridges. Between a model specified in ISO 1 600 and another at 6 400 ISO, the second gives better images when lighting conditions are not optimal.
Finally, the video also invades the segment of the bridges. The best bridges know film in Full HD (up to 1920 x 1080 pixels) at 30 frames per second, IE with excellent quality. You can determine the importance of this use according to your needs.
